In recent times, the media in some countries have exposed the idolatrous and adulterous practices of some of these self-acclaimed prophets and teachers. Note from Christ's word sin Matthew 7 vs. 21-23 that performing miracles and even the use of the name of Jesus does not necessarily imply that the person is a true prophet or teacher of God. The Gospel of salvation in Christ Jesus has been preached to many today, and especially through Christian churches and the media. How seriously do people take the gospel?
